The invention relates to a rotation transmission device (1) and a motor vehicle seat adjustment system comprising one such device. The inventive transmission device comprises a flexible shaft (2) and a casing (3) which houses the shaft (2) therein. The aforementioned casing (3) comprises a core (4) consisting of a hollow cylinder having an inner diameter which is dimensioned such as to enable the rotation of the shaft (2) inside said core (4). The core (4) of the device comprises at least one bearing-forming zone (6) which is obtained by means of plastic deformation, said zone (6) comprising at least three parts, namely: two outer parts (7, 8) and one central part (9). The axes of the above-mentioned parts (7-9) are essentially parallel to that of the core (4) while the diameter of said parts is essentially equal to that of the core (4). Moreover, the outer parts (7, 8) are substantially coaxial and comprise an axis which is offset in relation to the axes of the central part (9) and the core (4).

L'invention concerne un dispositif de transmission d'un mouvement de rotation (1) et un système de réglage de siège de véhicule automobile comprenant un tel dispositif. Le dispositif de transmission comprend un arbre flexible (2) et une gaine (3) à l'intérieur de laquelle l'arbre (2) est logé, la gaine (3) comprenant une âme (4) formée d'un cylindre creux dont le diamètre intérieur est agencé pour permettre la rotation dudit arbre (2) à l'intérieur de ladite âme (4). L'âme (4) du dispositif comprend au moins une zone formant palier (6) qui est obtenue par déformation plastique, la zone (6) comprenant au moins trois parties, deux parties extérieures (7, 8) et une partie centrale (9). Ces parties (7-9) présentent des axes sensiblement parallèles à celui de l'âme (4) et sont de diamètre sensiblement égal à celui de l'âme (4), les parties extérieures (7, 8) étant sensiblement coaxiales et d'axe décalé par rapport aux axes de la partie centrale (9) et de l'âme (4).
